I have tested three Robusto. The box of 25 costs CHF 295.00 (CHF 11.80 per cigar).

Let's dive straight into the flavours of this cigar. The combination with Turkish coffee is ideal. The rich aroma and sweetness of the coffee perfectly complement the bitter cocoa flavour of the cigar. This is what makes this pairing so enjoyable.

The cocoa flavours of this cigar are very pronounced. There are also nutty notes and a hint of wood, which round off the smoking experience wonderfully.

The tobacco

It glows evenly. The ash is compact.

A special feature of the Silencio Red Dot is the wrapper leaf from Cameroon. Two binder leaves from Indonesia and Mexico give the cigar an interesting complexity in the overall flavour. The filler from the Dominican Republic rounds off the international blend and gives the cigar a light, creamy base.

The Silencio Red Dot remains constant in the smoke curve.

Overall, the Silencio Red Dot deserves 85 points. The cap on the head of the cigar is not fitted very carefully. On all three of the specimens I tested, it fell off during smoking.

This cigar is pleasantly uncomplicated. It burns evenly and offers a constant smoking experience right to the end. With a maximum strength level of 3 out of 5, it is also suitable for beginners who want to slowly approach more complex flavours.
