West Tampa Black Line GIGANTE in test

West Tampa Black Line GIGANTE! I have tested two copies. Since October 2022, this brand is also available in Switzerland. You can find the presentation below at Resources on the topic. I wish you ?HAPPY SMOKE? with this photo tasting.

A cigar test is subjective

Note: How the cigar tastes is influenced by personal taste preferences, taste memories, the shape of the day, what you have eaten or drunk before. Even the lighting mood in the room has an influence on the experienced taste. The notes described here therefore do not have to match your own impressions.

West Tampa Black Line GIGANTE - the 2 test

The Analysis I performed with the Cigars.Zone Testing Tool by. Explanations to the ZiZo R+ smoke technology you can find here.

West Tampa Black Line Gigante
West Tampa Black Line Gigante: A Gordo format. The wrapper is silky and has a nice (marbled) dark brown color. The construction is even. The cold draw is ...WALDBEER...?!!! WTF?!! Now, this is not a joke, ok? The cigar is NOT flavored, of course. But the cold draw reminded me of wild berries.

The lighting succeeds easily and is uniform.
West Tampa Black Line Gigante
The first five minutes: For me personally, the draw resistance is a bit too light. The burn is initially even (changes later). The strength is 3/5. The taste is pleasant. With the ZiZo R+ technique it is intense and somewhat biting.
Beautiful burn.
The burnup is even at first. With time, there's crooked burning. I had to correct with the flame. I have tested two copies.
Elegant.
The format is a Gordo and is called GIGANTE at West Tampa. The cigar is an elegant and at the same time also massive appearance.
The ash
The ash is stable. From about the second half, it becomes fluffier.
Wow!
What a snapshot! At this moment the ash breaks off. Interesting that you can see the smoke in the photo, but the ash is still hanging on the cigar. A fraction later, the ash has fallen off.
And off!
Off is the ash, a fraction later to the previous photo. So cool! (taken with a second camera).
Until the end.
Aftertaste: pleasant ( R+ technique intensive / permanent +
Tasting Notes.
Tasting notes Tongue: sweet / slightly peppery / slightly cocoa / wood / slightly acidic. /// Retronasal: slightly peppery / lots of cocoa / lots of wood / slightly acidic. /// R+ Technique: slightly peppery / much cocoa / very many coffee beans.
The Anilla is on fire!
The Smokeverlauf (course of enjoyment) is almost linear from start to finish. The cigar has a slight increase, nice and constant. The strength is 3/5.
Fire!
HELP! The anilla is on fire! ?

As always, "If the cigar tastes good to me, then maybe to you. But if you don't like it, then there's more for me!" 🙂
