From the first glance at this cigar, one is almost captivated by its elegance. The silky wrapper is very well made and the cigar is evenly rolled. The colour of the wrapper is medium brown, rather a little lighter. During the cold draw, I could perceive gentle woody notes that awakened the anticipation of lighting up.
The first five minutes

Cuba Davidoff No. 1 Year 1987: The first five minutes.
Lighting was effortless and the draw resistance was optimal. The Kuba Davidoff No. 1 burned evenly and showed a slight strength of around 1/5 on the strength scale at the start. The flavour was pleasant, mild and a promising start for this cigar.
The first half of this Cuba Davidoff No. 1 from 1987

er... 😅
In the first half of the smoking experience, the cigar surprised me with its subtle and round flavour. The aroma of the smoke surrounded me pleasantly. The flavour did not develop and remained linear; it was very mild. Over the course of the first half, I could perceive slightly nutty, slightly bitter cocoa and slightly acidic nuances that enriched the overall experience. A subtle enhancement.
The second half
In the second half of the cigar, the intensity increased slightly, by a maximum of 2/5, but above all the flavour increased slightly. More woody and nutty flavours were added, which delighted my senses. What was particularly remarkable was that a very interesting and pleasant, very mild sweet and nutty flavour remained on the tongue. With the retronasal and the ZiZo R+ technique, the cigar developed further facets. It became slightly nutty and slightly peppery, accompanied by mild notes of coffee beans, wood and acidity.
Conclusion

Cuba Davidoff No. 1 year 1987, the final.
The Kuba Davidoff No. 1 from 1987 offered a beautiful and elegant smoking experience. It was rather linear, but still with a mild and subtle build-up. Its gentle flavours and subtle nuances make it a cigar that should be enjoyed in peace. You shouldn't have eaten anything or drunk any alcohol beforehand. This would spoil the flavour. I can warmly recommend it to all lovers of elegant, mild cigars, provided you have the opportunity to buy one.

The Kuba Davidoff No. 1 from 1987 is even a favourite with the sophisticated lady.
