Limited editions have a special place in the Habanos portfolio. Not only because of the careful selection of the leaves, which are matured for at least two years, but also because of their presentation in special packaging. With an additional black and gold vitola on which the year of release is noted, this is always a highlight for aficionados. The Monterreyes NO. 4 is presented in a wooden box specially designed for the occasion, each containing 10 Habanos.
Thick ring gauge
This new vitola is particularly noteworthy as it is the brand's seventh limited edition since the launch of the Vitola Epicure Especial in 2004. The Monterreyes NO. 4 Vitola already existed in the 1960s. Now it is being reintroduced in a modern format, which is one of the popular thick ring gauge vitolas.

Wrapper: Habano of excellent appearance, dark and bright colour, which makes it very authentic and special.
A Habanos with a boxing date of less than 4 months is fantastic for enjoyment. After that, the cigar needs time to mature. Depending on the brand and format, this can take several years.
An aromatic Habano with very pleasant woody notes, which provides a fresh and pleasant enjoyment experience.
Burning: Excellent burning properties and good draw. Fresh and aromatic smoke and slightly bitter notes inspire. Rather mild in flavour.
Ash: Light grey and compact.
Smoking time: Approximately 50 minutes.
Pairing: Can be enjoyed with a twelve-year-old whisky. Mild, floral and with light notes of roasted malt and a light finish. Combined with the mild flavour of this blend, it makes an excellent combination.
