Cocktail pairing with a magnificent Gilbert de Montsalvat. This programme was recorded from The Chedi Andermatt. You have to see the pairing with cigar. Marie Gerber (Manager Bar & Lounges The Chedi Andermatt) and I talk about the pairing with the cigar and the cigar service of the feel-good luxury hotel. Spoiler alert: The cigar lounge can be visited by anyone, even if they are not a guest. And: The cigars have normal retail prices, except for rarities of course.

Gilbert's Best Friend
This cocktail is called „Gilbert's Best Friend“. It consists of 4 ingredients. You can find out how to mix this fantastic cocktail yourself below. The cigar is from the „10 Anniversary“ line and is a Gran Robusto. I mixed the cocktail shortly before the programme. You can find out how I managed it and how the cigar and the cocktail go together in the following programme. I wish you lots of fun and enjoyment.
- We enjoyed the following cocktail while chatting: GILBERT'S BEST FRIEND
- 2cl Pisco
- 2cl Jsotta Rose Vermouth
- 1cl quince liqueur
- 1cl sherry
- Put all the ingredients in a small glass with ice and stir until you have the perfect balance. You can also mix all the ingredients without sherry first; then taste and add sherry afterwards, then you will notice how it changes.

Absolutely. Of course, you can also puff on cigars - the prices are normal dealer prices without the typical hotel surcharge (except for rarities, but there are also very reasonable prices from time to time). The bar at The Chedi Andermatt has just been awarded first place for the best hotel bar in Switzerland. A great honour.
