18 years Don Cigarro

For the past 18 years, the specialist store has been the place to go for cigar lovers on the Gold Coast and in the region, and for the whole of Switzerland via the web store. Jürg Brunold is retiring at the age of 69. "I am delighted that the specialist store is being handed over to an experienced expert in the premium cigar segment who stands for high quality and top advice," says Jürg Brunold.

The new owner, Ulrich Hartl, is no stranger to the Swiss tobacco industry. He was previously Managing Director of Villiger Söhne AG and then Chairman of the Management Board until he set up his own company, Hartl Premium Tobacco Gmbh, in Walchwil/ZG in December 2003. In 2007, further specialist tobacco stores were added in Zug and Walchwil under the name Zugersee Tabak AG. Don Cigarro is the third store to be run under Hartl's management in future. "I am grateful to be able to follow in the footsteps of Jürg Brunold and his sister Tina Brunold, who have made Don Cigarro one of the leading premium cigar suppliers. It also makes me proud that my son, Vincent Hartl, is taking over the management in Zollikon," says Ulrich Hartl.

Vincent Hartl has already been active in various positions in his father's company for 5 years. The name and range of cigars at Don Cigarro remain unchanged. This means that cigar lovers can continue to enjoy the usual wide selection of cigars and accessories.
