Cigar cutting

Cut a cigar using the simplest method. It was pure chance that I discovered this method for myself. I've now cut over 40 cigars this way and it's been perfect every time. Well, "cut" is the wrong word for this method. Watch the short video.

Does this method work for all cigar formats?

This method works for all cigars with a flat cigar head (= Pajero formats). However, it does not work with the Torpedos and Pyramides. With the Salomones formats it is "solala" (here I prefer to cut the cigars as usual).

How to use method no. 1 - cut the cigar

Use your conventional cutter or even a very sharp knife. (Puncher and hole punch work poorly or not at all). Carefully cut off only the upper part of the cigar cap. So you don't cut the cigar at all. End with crumbs in the mouth or with burst wrapper leaves on the cigar head after cutting.

This method tends not to work with a drill.

  1. Thank you Vasi!
Finally someone who knows that cigars do not have to be cut (they were already cut before they were rolled into the capa ...), but only the tripa has to be exposed.
A blessed Christmas season to you all and a happy, never-ending new year!
