The quality of Capitol CASINO (Gran Robusto)

The first thing that stands out is the cigar's silky wrapper. The cigar was evenly rolled, although in two copies the dark tobacco was somewhat rolled to the side. Fortunately, this did not lead to problems with the glow.

The color of the wrapper is medium brown, tending to be slightly lighter. The cold draw was sweetish-warm and extremely interesting, which already indicated a promising smoking experience.

The first five minutes of Capitol Casino cigars

The first five minutes of smoking were a little unusual, because the lighting took a little longer than usual. However, the draw resistance was optimal and the burn was even. The strength of the cigar was light to medium and the taste was very pleasant. Particularly noteworthy is the intensity of flavor when smoking retronasal and when using the ZiZo R+ technique.

The first half

The ash lasts until the second half. After that, it breaks off more quickly.

In the first half of the smoking experience, the aftertaste was pleasant but not overly intense on the tongue. However, when smoking retronasally and using the ZiZo R+ technique, it was all the more intense. The aroma (the smell of the smoke) was spicy and slightly pungent, the taste slightly grassy, nutty, peppery when using the ZiZo R+ technique, with a hint of bittersweet cocoa and a slight woody note, as well as a subtle acidity.

The second half of Capitol Casino cigars holds a surprise

In the second half of the smoking experience, a pleasant sweetness suddenly came to the fore, accompanied by distinct notes of coffee beans. The enjoyment increased continuously and the cigar proved to be uncomplicated in smoking behavior. The overall strength can be described as medium, maximum 3/5.

I recommend for the CAPITOL Casino an acclimatization of at least 10 days with cellophane in the humidor. This makes the cigar even smoother and provides an even richer smoking experience.

The CAPITOL Casino is a cigar that is definitely worth a try. It may seem a bit "hard" on the first smoke, but after a short acclimatization develops into a pleasant pleasure that pampers the taste buds.

And again, honestly, I think this "Gatsby stuff" is just incredibly cool!
