The oily wrapper made from Ecuadorian Connecticut - simply to fall in love with! It seems as if this cigar has a very special aura. When I removed the cellophane, I was hit by a scent that reminded me of warm chocolate pudding. Yes, you heard right - chocolate pudding! WTF, right?

The quality and strength of the AVO Classic No. 2 Toro

When lighting up, I immediately noticed that everything went like clockwork. The draw resistance? Simply perfect. And the burn? So even that you'd think a ruler had (almost) been involved. Grandiose. I tasted three examples and all three were perfectly rolled.

The wrapper leaf is outstanding and makes a decisive contribution to this pleasurable experience.

Now for the strength: With a 3 out of 5 on the strength scale, I would classify her as medium strength. But don't let that fool you, she's got it thick as a fist behind her ears. Towards the finale, it does turn up the heat and the nicotine makes itself felt. Not much, but you notice it.

The taste

The taste on the tongue and retronasally is a real experience. The aftertaste remains positive and pleasantly intense in the memory. A fascinating blend of fruit, sweetness, a hint of pepper, cocoa, coffee beans and wood. It is as if the tongue, palate and retronasal senses are playing together in a grandiose orchestra.

The anilla (cigar ring) is of high quality and really matches the overall appearance of this cigar very well.

  1. Hello Vasilij, I can understand your enthusiasm. I am a big fan of Avo cigars and can only recommend them to everyone. My favorite is the Syncro Fogata Tubo. Unfortunately, the supply to Germany is no longer as good. Oettinger Davidoff no longer brings all the series onto the market here, which is a real shame. Tonight I will enjoy an Intermezzo XO. Best regards to Switzerland
