Skelton xRelaxx Robusto. Today I want to tell you about my experience with the Skelton xRelaxx Robusto. This cigar has fascinated me from start to finish (especially because of the optical design and the complete horny market appearance). I'm happy to share my impressions with you. The quality

Already at first glance at the Skelton xRelaxx Robusto the silky oily wrapper catches the eye. It promises a special smoking experience. The cigar is rolled evenly.

I tested three copies. After about 10 minutes: All three cigars had some damage to the binder (note, the UMBLATT, and NOT the wrapper). This resulted in a kleil burn. I let the cigars smolder to see how far the wedge burn went and if it would correct itself. Yes, it did correct itself.

All three specimens had a wedge burn in the first half. It went up to 1cm and corrected itself (after the damage to one of the two wrappers was over).

What a fantastic eye-catcher! The Skelton xRelaxx cigar bench. Sorry... it's called the Skelton xRelaxx DEAD HEAD bench. 😅

The first five minutes of the Skelton xRelaxx Robusto

I tested three cigars.

The lighting succeeds effortlessly and the draw resistance is optimal. The burn is even and already in the first five minutes develops a pleasant full-bodied taste on the tongue. The wedge burn is not yet present here.

I tested them during three weeks. Each cigar I tested at different times of the day.

The first and second half

The ash holds pretty well from the Skelton xRelaxx.

In the first half of the Skelton xRelaxx Robusto unfold slightly spicy notes, which are accompanied by a sweet floral nuance. A touch of pepper, wood and a slight acidity round out the taste experience. Retronasal and in the ZiZo R+ technique, leather, cocoa and especially a lot of coffee bean aroma come to the fore, which makes the cigar particularly interesting for coffee lovers. 😅

The cigar remains rather linear in the first half, but develops a bit more depth in the second half. The flavors become more intense and occasionally subtle almond flavors are evident.

The second half brings more depth and fuller flavors.

About the Skelton xRelaxx Roubsto

This new creation by Tonio Neugebauer and the dark, somewhat rough Mexican San Andres wrapper already give an idea that something special awaits us here. The use of high-quality tobaccos from the Dominican Republic, Honduras and Nicaragua provide a nice variety of flavors.

Of particular interest is that the Skelton xRelaxx Robusto uses two wrapper leaves from Indonesia and Nicaragua, which (should) add an extra dimension to the smoke. The cigar stays in a light to medium strength range until the end, making it accessible to aficionados of all experience levels.

The presentation of Skelton xRelaxx cigars in a solid gold glass pot with lid, emblazoned with the hand-painted logo of Skel Ton cigars, perfectly completes the overall experience of this novelty.

Conclusion

I can highly recommend the Skelton xRelaxx Robusto. It offers a nice, varied taste experience, a good finish and a sensational presentation. A cigar that is definitely worth trying.
