Partagás Serie E No.2 Gran Reserva Cosecha 2015 - the older the better. The high-gloss lacquered box contains 15 fine cigars. For the production of the Gran Reservas one uses exclusively at least five years matured tobaccos. Already available in Germany since March 2023, it is now also available in Switzerland: From 24.10.23 in the Casa del Habano and from 31.10.223 at the Specialists.

Format introduced in 2016

The Reserva line of Habanos is traditionally characterized by the edition of absolute classics of the range, which are made for this purpose from specially aged tobaccos. Such formats in recent years were, for example, the Hoyo de Monterrey Double Coronas and H.Upmann Sir Winston (both as Gran Reservas) or the Cohiba Robusto and the Bolívar Belicosos Finos (both as Reservas).

Now follows with the Partagás Serie E No.2 as Gran Reserva from tobaccos of the harvest of 2015 a still quite young format. It was introduced by Habanos only in 2016. Within a short time, however, the massive, crisp Duke format developed into an absolute bestseller of the Partagás brand.

And that is by no means poor in such fast movers! With a length of 140 mm and a large ring gauge of 52, it is extremely comfortable in the hand and brings the tobacco blend of the Partagás line series excellent to the fore. For Habanos S.A. this was reason enough to now dedicate a Gran Reserva edition to this format. 

Harvest from the year 2015

These excellent cigars are made from particularly carefully matured tobaccos of the 2015 harvest and they are thus undeniably among the most exclusive and exceptional pleasures in the world of Habanos. It goes without saying that only the most experienced rollers are selected in the manufactories to roll these masterpieces from the best tobacco leaves. Only 5,000 boxes of each Gran Reserva edition are released worldwide, each containing 15 cigars.

Without a doubt, it will therefore also shortly be one of the most sought-after rarities for Habanos collectors and lovers. After the Partagás Lusitania Gran Reserva 2007, which was introduced in 2013, this is the second time that a Partagás format made from tobaccos aged for at least five years has come onto the market. Incidentally, another classic from the brand - the Partagás Serie D No.4 - kicked off Habanos' Reserva and Gran Reserva line in 2005. 

5 years matured tobacco

For the production of the Gran Reservas, only tobaccos aged for at least five years are used for the filler, wrapper and binder, which come from the best Vegas Finas de Prima from the Pinar del Rio zone. The Spanish word "cosecha" means "harvest" and indicates from which year the tobacco leaves used come. 

The marking of these cigars as "Gran Reserva" serves a second, black-gold cigar ring. The noble boxes are high-gloss black lacquer and underline the elegant appearance of the Gran Reserva cigars.
