It's a busy day at the Feria del Tabaco at MANUEL'S when I come across the Davidoff stand. I am immediately greeted by the vibrant energy and enthusiastic smile of Agron Ramadani. You can tell that Davidoff's heart beats faster here. And no sooner have we shaken hands than we're in the middle of a conversation about their "The Difference" campaign, which has been running since 2023.

Davidoff's masterpieces: a look behind the White Band campaign and the new Maduro

"Agron, what's behind the slogan 'The White Band is The Difference'?" I ask curiously. Agron smiles and says: "Hey Vasilij, good to see you! Exactly, our 'Difference' campaign has been running since 2023 and people find it exciting! Today I'm here to present our famous White Band and I have two very special cigars with me. First of all, we presented the Grand Cru Diadema Finas Limited Edition in Bordeaux this year. It was a mega event - first-class people, the finest cigars and the atmosphere was simply fantastic. The cigar? A masterpiece."

"And what about the new Maduro that you presented? What makes it so special?" I ask. -"Oh, the new Davidoff Maduro is a real highlight," Agron explains enthusiastically. "We have further developed the original Maduro. The special thing is the wrapper leaf: it comes from tobacco leaves from the Corte #7 stage. These leaves grow at the very top of the plant, where they soak up plenty of sun. The result? A rustic, intense taste that still feels wonderfully elegant - typical Davidoff, but with a bold new twist."

While Agron tells me more exciting details about the White Band, I notice a special eye-catcher: An impressive humidor that literally shines at me from the corner of the stand. "Agron, is that... stone?" I ask incredulously. "Absolutely! This is our exclusive limestone humidor," he explains proudly, tapping the massive piece. "It's handmade in Italy, weighs over 25 kilos and not only looks good, but also keeps the cigars perfectly fresh. Everyone who sees it is blown away."

Finally, I ask Agron what advice he has for cigar lovers. He leans back and says with a mischievous smile: "Guys, enjoy your Davidoff cigars, but don't be afraid to try other brands. And keep your eyes open - next year we've got some real hits up our sleeve!"
