Exclusive and mysterious: cigar lovers celebrate ADVentura Cigars at the Landgasthof Wartegg!
ADVentura Cigars / On 13 January 2025, the Landgasthof Wartegg in Wigoltingen was the venue for a spectacular cigar evening organised by Urs Portmann Tabakwaren AG in collaboration with ADVentura Cigars and the importer ImpCor. With a sold-out house and a long waiting list, the guests experienced an evening full of enjoyment, fantastic service and outstanding cigars - an event that everyone involved will remember for a long time to come. And there was a secret too...

Excellent food and a unique ambience
Excellent food and excellent cigars from ADVentura.
The team at Landgasthof Warteggs outdid themselves and offered guests service of the highest calibre. The evening was a closed party, entirely dedicated to the enjoyment of cigars. For non-smoking guests, this meant „good ventilation“ the next day, but for cigar lovers, this was a rare opportunity to combine excellent food and fine smoking pleasure in a relaxed atmosphere.
Special praise goes to the Wartegg team: anyone who has eaten there will understand why this restaurant has so many enthusiastic regulars. A visit is highly recommended!
The star of the evening: ADVentura Cigars
Rouven Bähr (ImpCor, importer), Marcel Knobel (ADVentura Cigars), Thomas Portmann (Urs Portmann Tabakwaren AG).
Of course, the real highlight of the evening was the presentation of ADVentura Cigars. Marcel Knobel, the creative mind and creator of the brand, took the guests on a journey into the world of his cigars. He talked about the beginnings of the brand in 2016 and its impressive development to date. His stories were inspiring and showed once again how much passion is behind every ADVentura cigar.

ImpCor importer and Rouven Bähr: The pleasure bringer
Rouven Bähr, the best cigar salesman in Switzerland, who works for ImpCor, was also there. He calls himself a „pleasure bringer“. Whenever Rouven talks about cigars or coffee, no ear is left unturned - his enthusiasm and knowledge are simply infectious - you can listen to him for hours. Anyone who knows him knows exactly what he's talking about.
I wish you „en guete“!
Family ties and a pinch of mystery
Thomas Portmann, the organiser of the event, and his father Urs, the namesake of Urs Portmann Tabakwaren AG, were also present. Their presence gave the evening a personal touch and ensured great joy among the guests.
The cigars and the food were perfectly matched.
A very special moment was the tasting of an exclusive cigar that is not yet on the market - and will probably never be available in this form. The rumour mill was buzzing: could this be a preview of the anniversary cigar that ADVentura Cigars will release in 2026 to celebrate its 10th anniversary? Let us be surprised!

An evening full of enjoyment
This cigar evening was a complete success - an event that focussed on enjoyment, passion and community. A big thank you to everyone who made this evening possible: the Wartegg team, Marcel Knobel from ADVentura Cigars, Rouven Bähr from ImpCor, the Portmann family and, of course, the many enthusiastic guests.
