When I smoked the Davidoff Winston Churchill Limited Edition 2025 for the first time in January, it was immediately one of the most exciting new products of the year for me. Not only because of its flavour, but also because of the incredibly great box (see below). Now, almost a year later, I'm picking it up again - not to look for differences, but to experience its character today. This is precisely the strength of this limited edition: it is like a personality that you know, but which reveals new nuances every time you see it again.

The first third - immediate presence

From the very first puffs, the Limited Edition shows how carefully it has been composed. The introduction is clear: a creamy, soft smoke opens the experience and combines with fine nutty notes and a round, dark coffee that brings depth without bitterness.

An elegant woody spice provides balance from the outset. Nothing seems erratic or loud. Instead, the flavours arrange themselves harmoniously - as if the cigar is consciously saying: „I am present, Vasilij, and now for you alone.“ Man, if only you could enjoy that cigar right now!

The second third - more width, more depth

The cigar becomes even more self-confident in the middle section. The intensity increases without ever losing its elegance. The natural sweetness of the tobacco becomes clearer, the coffee gains depth and the wood flavours develop more broadly.

Everything remains wonderfully balanced and harmonious - a development that is no coincidence. This is a cigar that knows how to take up space: not loudly, but confidently. A character trait that suits Winston Churchill perfectly. Well, that's not quite true, because he could certainly be loud 😅

The final third - concentration and depth

The Limited Edition concentrates its aromatic power in the last third. A fine spiciness is added, accompanied by notes of dark chocolate, which combine elegantly with the nutty basic flavours. The smoke becomes denser, the flavour rounder - a finish with depth, but without heaviness.

Conclusion - a cigar with excellent facets

For me, the Davidoff Winston Churchill Limited Edition 2025 is one of those cigars that you don't just smoke, you experience. It was a strong, mature product when it was launched at the beginning of 2025 - and it is just as impressive today, with all the facets you would expect from a tribute to Winston Churchill: character, balance, depth and attitude.

When I enjoy it again now - after almost a year - it confirms exactly what convinced me back then. It's a finish that doesn't just end, but lingers. A worthy final chord that shows how much care and craftsmanship went into the blend.
