They are inspired by Winston Churchill. "The Late Hour Series" grows in 2024 with a Petit Panetela cigar. Davidoff is also launching two humidors. They honor Churchill's talent as a storyteller (raconteur).

Churchill, known for his love of cigars, led a nation and wrote speeches. He was known for his tireless work ethic. Davidoff's Collection offers diverse moments of pleasure inspired by Churchill. The blends contain tobaccos from Ecuador, Mexico, the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. The Original Series offers six medium-intensity formats for daytime enjoyment. Therefore, as soon as the lights go out and the mood calls for more intense cigars, "The Late Hour Series" with its blend of seven different types of tobacco is the perfect choice. In particular, the filler tobacco matured in whisky barrels lends even more depth and sweetness to the complex evening enjoyment in four new formats.

In 2024, the Petit Panetela complements "The Late Hour Series". The 2020 limited edition exceeded all expectations. Edward Simon, CMO at Oettinger Davidoff, is positive about the permanent launch. The Petit Panetela offers the same complex taste as the long filler in the series, but in a shorter form. "I am delighted that we can now offer our aficionados this special format on a permanent basis," says Edward Simon, CMO at Oettinger Davidoff.

I'm as happy as a little child when I can enjoy this petit panetela again early in the morning.

The Petit Panetela offers a 15-minute smoking experience. It is lighter than the long filler, starting with strong coffee, leather and spices. In the middle section, notes of leather, chocolate and cream unfold, reinforced by whisky barrel-matured tobacco. The finish combines black pepper, oak and strong malt flavors.

Two new humidors inspired by the raconteur

Davidoff introduces two new humidors inspired by Churchill. The versatile character of Churchill is reflected in the Primos and Ambassador humidors. Both feature excerpts from Churchill's book "My Early Life" and his silhouette on the lid. The light Primos humidor for 25-35 cigars symbolizes the day, the dark Ambassador for 70-80 cigars symbolizes the night. Both are handmade and optimally regulate the humidity.

You can see the engraved lettering better in the light-colored humidor. I also like the look. I actually need both humidors 😅

The history of Davidoff humidors:
