Tested: Winston Churchill Limited Edition 2025 - My judgement
The Winston Churchill Limited Edition 2025 is without question a cigar that deserves your full attention. I tested three examples and what I found was a very nice balance, a great blend and a fantastic presentation in a classy box. It is not (yet) a masterpiece, but it definitely has the potential to develop into a real pleasure highlight. The box itself is sensational, as the inside lid is adorned with Winston Churchill's famous painting 'Cork Trees Near Mimizan' and a second ring on the cigars. The price convinces me: CHF 49.00 for this Churchill vitola.

Short clip with a few details 🙂
The first impression

Intensity: 3 out of 5 / Churchill dimensions: RG 48 x 7″ | Ø 1.9 cm x 17.8 cm
I was already impressed by the design of the box and the workmanship of the cigar. The aroma of roasted nuts and a hint of sweetness when lighting up immediately aroused anticipation. The tobacco from the Martin Garcia zone in the Dominican Republic brings a special flavour that is characterised by the intensive growing conditions there.
Addition to the tasting: Details of the packaging
What I noticed during testing: The leather strap for opening the lid of the wooden box is very tight. You can hardly get it open as it is only cut into the top of the punched hole. A small cut on the underside would help here and make handling much easier. But this is just a small hint for you. In the video you can see how tight it sits.

Very nice idea to depict Winston Churchill's famous painting 'Cork Trees Near Mimizan' on the lid of the wooden box and on a second ring on the cigars.
The first third - a successful start
In the first third, the cigar shows a nice balance of flavours of nuts, black coffee and a subtle cedar wood spice. The smoke is soft and pleasant, the flavours are harmonious and already very well balanced.

The ash is slightly flaky, but everything is in the green zone.
The second third - growing strength
In the middle section, the cigar becomes somewhat more intense. The sweetness of the tobacco comes more to the fore, accompanied by stronger coffee and an elegant woody note. The blend shows its class here and gives the smoke depth.
The finale - a worthy conclusion
The last third remains consistently good, but without offering any major surprises. A light spiciness and nuances of dark chocolate round off the finish.

A pleasure that increases slowly and steadily. Very nice blend!
The special detail: acclimatisation required
What I noticed during testing: The cigars still need time. After delivery, they don't seem to have fully settled down yet. However, two to three months in the humidor at home with the cellophane should allow them to mature optimally and develop their full potential. This is not a fault of the cigar, but perhaps due to the still fresh delivery.
My conclusion: Promising with potential
The Winston Churchill Limited Edition 2025 is already a very good cigar that impresses with its balance and high-quality blend. However, with a little patience and time in the humidor, it will continue to improve. For lovers of complex and elegant cigars, it is a clear recommendation - and the beautiful box also makes it a real eye-catcher.
