West Tampa White Line Robusto in test

West Tampa White Line Robusto in the test. One day an eMail fluttered through before my eyes. The content: New in Switzerland, West Tampa cigars. Immediately I was attentive. Because: the brand owner is Rick Rodriguez, a well-known name in the cigar world. Immediately I set to work and soon tested the White Line Robusto. You can find everything about the brand from Nicaragua under resources on the subject. I hope you enjoy my photo tasting. Thanks to the Swiss importer The Royal Cigar Company AG, there's one more choice for us cigar connoisseurs.

A cigar test is subjective

Note: How the cigar tastes is influenced by personal taste preferences, taste memories, the shape of the day, what you have eaten or drunk before. Even the lighting mood in the room has an influence on the experienced taste. The notes described here therefore do not have to match your own impressions.

West Tampa White Line Robusto tested

West Tampa
Hi, I'm Rick Rodriguez. I hope you enjoy this photo tasting of cigars.zone and as soon as you enjoy my cigars, I say to you already now: ?HAPPY SMOKE!?
West Tampa White Line Robusto
The wrapper is silky and the cigar is evenly rolled. The White Line has a medium brown wrapper from Ecuador. They are talking about Light Pink wrapper here. It should probably have a light pink color.

So, I did not see any pink, but I must confess that I was completely sober. The cold draw was fantastically sweet; now I was very excited about this cigar! As always, I analyzed the cigar with the ZiZo Tasting Tool. The link to the free PDF download is below in the Resources section.

The first five minutes

West Tampa White Line Robusto
The lighting succeeds perfectly and quickly. The draw resistance is optimal. In the first five minutes, the burn is even only at the beginning. Soon it gets a crooked burn; nothing dramatic (there I have already experienced brutal things) and the flame helps with this problem. The strength is light at the beginning, a 2/5 at most.

We are still in the first five minutes; the taste is pleasant on the tongue and slightly intense despite the slight strength. Retronasal and ZiZo R+ technique it is slightly intense (at resources on the subject you will find the link to these techniques).

The course of the smoke

West Tampa White Line Robusto
The course of the smoke: aftertaste is intense and positive lingering on the tongue. The tongue: slightly peppery / cocoa / slightly acidic and slightly salty. On the ash it has white dots. This indicates a particularly aromatic wrapper (oil deposits) and is always a good sign of the quality of the wrapper.
Great cigar!
Retronasal: slightly peppery / coffee beans / wood ///// ZiZo R+ Technique: slightly peppery / spicy / wood. ///// I noticed that my salivation was stimulated during the smoke. I never had a dry mouth. I found that very interesting and pleasant.
It can steam, but not too much.
The aroma (room note) of the smoke is spicy and slightly spicy. The course of enjoyment from the beginning to the final: Almost linear, but with a slight and steady increase.

Conclusion

Delightful.
The cigar got 4.13 out of 5 points with me. I have tested one copy. This cigar was solid and rolled very qualitatively. The Anilla (cigar ring) I find great, I like very much. The paper is high quality and quite sturdy. The printing is clean. To buy or not to buy? Definitely buy, try this cigar!

As always, "If the cigar tastes good to me, then maybe to you. But if you don't like it, then there's more for me!" 🙂
