West Tampa Black Line GIGANTE in the test

West Tampa Black Line GIGANTE! I tested two of them. This brand has also been available in Switzerland since October 2022. You can find the presentation below in the resources section. I wish you 'HAPPY SMOKE' with this photo tasting.

A cigar test is subjective

Note: How a cigar tastes is influenced by personal taste preferences, taste memories, the form of the day, what you have eaten or drunk beforehand. Even the lighting in the room has an influence on the flavour you experience. The notes described here therefore do not necessarily correspond to your own impressions.

West Tampa Black Line Gigante
West Tampa Black Line Gigante: A Gordo format. The wrapper leaf is silky and has a beautiful (marbled), dark brown colour. The construction is even. The cold draw is ...WALDBEEREN...?!!! WTF?! Now, this is not meant to be a joke, ok? The cigar is of course NOT flavoured. But the cold draw reminded me of wild berries.
West Tampa Black Line Gigante
Lighting is easy and even.
West Tampa Black Line Gigante
The first five minutes: For me personally, the draw resistance is a little too light. The burn is even at first (changes later). The strength is 3/5 and the flavour is pleasant. With the ZiZo R+ technique, it is intense and somewhat pungent.
Nice burn.
The burn-up is initially even. Over time, it starts to burn unevenly. I had to correct this with the flame. I tested two specimens.
Elegant.
The format is a Gordo and is called GIGANTE at West Tampa. The cigar has an elegant and at the same time massive appearance.
The ashes
The ash is stable. It becomes flakier from about the second half.
Wow!
What a snapshot! The ash breaks off at this moment. It's interesting that you can see the smoke in the photo, but the ash is still attached to the cigar. A fraction later, the ash has fallen off.
And off!
Off goes the ash, a fraction later than the previous photo. So cool! (taken with a second camera).
Right to the end.
Aftertaste: pleasant ( R+ technique intensive / permanent +
Tastingnotes.

The Anilla is on fire!
The course of the smoke (enjoyment) is almost linear from start to finish. The cigar has a slight increase, nicely constant. The strength is 3/5.
Fire!
HELP! The Anilla is on fire! ?

As always: „If I like the cigar, maybe you will too. But if you don't like it, then there's more for me!‘ 🙂
