Statement from Habanos S.A. on the 2022 price adjustment
5TH Avenue Products GmbH, informed: As it does every year around this time, Habanos, S.A. has updated the sales prices for the distribution network for its entire portfolio.
Habanos and the 2022 price increase
For 2022, they have been set taking into account the current challenging aspects affecting all sectors, including the luxury and premium cigar market, and a new strategy of global homogenisation in the highest segment of the price pyramid. (Editor's note: You can find the PDF for the EUR prices at the bottom of the resources section).
Cohiba's undisputed global leadership, the strengthening of its positioning through new, even more exclusive projects and the imbalance between supply (which is limited by the brand's unique characteristics) and the unstoppable demand for its vitolas make the number one Habanos brand not only the most exclusive premium cigar brand in the world, but also one of the most exclusive brands in all luxury sectors. Habanos, S.A. has decided to reinforce this positioning by standardising Cohiba prices at a global level, using the UPE for Hong Kong as a reference.
This decision also applies to the Trinidad brand, which consolidates its position in the elite of Habanos brands by becoming the boutique brand of Habanos par excellence. Other vitolas and lines of excellence in brands such as Montecristo, Partagás or Romeo y Julieta are also raising the prices of some of their most exclusive items, similar to Cohiba and Trinidad, redefining the concept of luxury in the premium cigar sector.

The price list, are these end customer prices or the prices for the dealer?

68€ for a Cohiba Robusto! Wow, that's an announcement!
Absolutely, in my opinion it's not worth it at all. But everyone defines the price for themselves and knows whether they want to pay it or not.
Very cool ? Sure, they're three times as good. But only if I store them at my place, test them after 5 years and then report back to you. ?
Moin,
10 years ago, for my 40th birthday, friends gave me a 3-pack of COHIBA LINEA CLASICA Espléndidos - and other guests were amazed because the price on the packaging was € 96 on the tax seal.
... but for my 50th birthday, which is coming up soon, I'm only getting one more!
Are they 3 times as good?
