The prices are set by the management. We do not have fixed prices in Switzerland, the prices from Intertabak are guide prices, so prices may vary from shop to shop. The prices of the standard range in the webshop are simply given in €, like those in the shop. Vasilij has already described the matter with the % very nicely. best regards samya

Nice talk. I've also been to Casa Basel a few times. Mrs Kanouni is very likeable. However, I find the prices in the online shop at least questionable. If you buy directly in the shop, you pay Intertabak's gross prices. 10% box discount. The prices in the online shop vary greatly. The pricing policy is not clear to me.

That surprises me too. Casas always have (or should have) identical prices depending on the country, online or direct purchase. Even in Cuba this is the case - with the exception of Varadero, where everything is a little different - a 25-count box of Montecristo No.4 cost CUC 138 in 2019 in the Casa in Pinar del Rio, just like in La Habana or anywhere else - if that's not the case in Basel, it makes me wonder.
