New ban in Germany

Following a reinterpretation of the ban on additives in the Tobacco Act by the authorities, filled jars (or humidors) may no longer be sold in Germany. Jars and cigars are therefore now sold separately.

Editor's note: We don't have to understand all the strange prohibitions and laws that are passed. But what we do understand MUSTis that we have to face the Indulgence therefore cannot be taken away. Right?

H.Upmann Magnum 56

So, on with the text 🙂 It's back - this fantastic cigar, which was released as a one-off Edición Limitada in 2015. As the name Magnum 56 suggests, this cigar has a ring gauge of 56 and is 150 mm long. The compact cigar therefore sits exceptionally well in the hand. The aromas of the fine tobacco blend are just as impressive, even if, unlike its predecessor in the Edición Limitada, it is of course not made from mature tobaccos. 

The strength is light to medium, typical of the brand. However, this cigar not only impresses with its fine blend of the best tobaccos from the Vuelta Abajo region. Its presentation in an elegant porcelain jar is just as spectacular. Only in very rare cases does Habanos bring cigars onto the market in this extremely popular presentation. The jars, which can also be used as humidors, are extremely popular, not least among collectors. 

This jar for 20 pieces of the H.Upmann Magnum 56 is designed in the style of the traditional H.Upmann brand and comes well packaged and protected in high-quality cardboard packaging. 

Like all Habanos from H.Upmann, the cigars are long-fillers rolled entirely by hand ("totalmente a mano"). 

The H.Upmann Magnum 56 Jar was originally intended by Habanos S.A. for exclusive sale in travel retail/duty free. However, following the collapse of the duty-free business due to the coronavirus crisis, it can now also be sold in domestic markets.
