The VEGAFINA LINEA NICARAGUA line offers aficionados full-bodied cigars that are 100% from the best tobaccos of the Jalapa and Estelí regions of Nicaragua.

Now the line's assortment is expanded with the Gran Vulcano, a new vitola that appeals especially to lovers of large-format cigars. It has a large ring gauge of 56 and a length of 137 mm. Thus, it has the same diameter as the already known and popular "Vulcano" of this series, but is significantly longer and thus offers even more cigar enjoyment, for at least one enjoyable hour. 

The Gran Vulcano is a handmade puro from Nicaraguan tobaccos aged for at least four years. It has the classic Linea Nicaragua tobacco blend and is medium to strong. Its woody aromas and intense, full-bodied flavor are typical of very good Nicaraguan tobacco.

It comes in habilitated boxes of 10 in the typical warm Linea Nicaragua orange to selected retailers.

With the introduction of Gran Vulcano, VEGAFINA LINEA NICARAGUA consolidates its position as one of the world's best-selling lines of cigars made from Nicaraguan tobacco. 

The cigar magazine CIGAR JOURNAL awarded the Gran Vulcano an excellent 92 points in their Spring 2022 issue. In addition, it received a recommendation as BEST BUY in the same issue.

Tasting notes

- Wrapper: brownish-red, silky, shiny and without veins 

- Strength: medium to full-bodied

- Aroma: woody, toasted and spicy, with nuances of cedar, cinnamon, vanilla and pepper. 

- Taste: intense tobacco flavor, woody, roasted notes with mineral hints and notes of coffee, almonds and raisins that leave a lingering aftertaste with hints of vanilla, black pepper and molasses. 

- Train: excellent

- Burning: Excellent, very even and homogeneous over the entire course of smoke

- Ash: medium gray color with dull dark gray veins, very compact and stable.

- Smoking time: about 60 min
