Davidoff Siete Oscuro test report
Davidoff Siete Oscuro was created by Davidoff Master Blender Eladio Diaz as a gift to himself and his friends for his 60th birthday. The name “SIETE OSCURO” refers to the blend of seven (Siete) tobaccos, which is topped with a dark (Oscuro) wrapper. I'm super excited to see how the cigar will taste.
A cigar test is subjective
Note: How a cigar tastes is influenced by personal taste preferences, taste memories, the form of the day, what you have eaten or drunk beforehand. Even the lighting in the room has an influence on the flavour you experience. The notes described here therefore do not necessarily correspond to your own impressions.

Conclusion Davidoff Siete Oscuro
The cigar was produced in 2016 and rested and matured for five years before being launched on the market in autumn 2021. A very flavourful cigar and a fantastic blend! I tasted three and enjoyed every single minute of it. I recommend buying the bundles: On the one hand, because the cigars are limited worldwide and, on the other, because it's simply a super cool cigar!
I paired two of them with black espresso and peanuts. Wonderful combination with this cigar!
I corrected the occasional crooked firing with the flame. Here is an explanation of why I recommend a 12-week acclimatisation period: The burning was a little bumpy at times: sometimes the three specimens burned faster in the centre, and then again completely normally.
This is not a fault of the cigar. It is already suitable for consumption after purchase, as you can read from my comments. Acclimatisation will do it good.
I enjoyed my third one at around 7.30pm in an idyllic pub garden. I sat there in the lounge, drank a fantastic Talisker whisky with it and the Davidoff Siete Oscuro went extremely well with it! Which Talisker did you enjoy? I was afraid this question would come up. I haven't the faintest idea. The main thing is that this pairing was simply the top hit!

I've got something to look forward to! OK - 12 weeks to wait, Oookeeey ...
Test one immediately and then again 12 weeks later. Do you notice a difference? I'm very interested 🙂
That was exactly what I was thinking. I will report back.
