The four lines are called White Band Collection. It is a timeless icon of sophistication and elegance. The difference with other cigars is, among other things, the strict quality control. External impression before lighting

Recommended acclimatization in humidor with cellophane: 4 days
The color and the cover sheet: light brown Connecticut / silky
The construction and cold draft: evenly rolled (somewhat soft) / sweetish, woody
General impression after lighting in the first 5 minutes
The lighting and the draw resistance: light / train: too light. MY mistake. The cigar is rolled a little soft. I cut it too much.
The burn, the strength and the taste: Perfectly even / strength 3/5 / subtle, pleasant, full-bodied
Impression during the smoke
Aftertaste and aroma (scent of smoke = room note)
First half: pleasant, lasting positive / Aroma: rich, spicy
Second half: pleasant, lasting positive / Aroma: rich, spicy
Taste on the tongue
First half: slightly peppery / a little cocoa / wood / slightly acidic
Second half: more pepper / more cocoa / spicy / coffee beans
Retronasal
First half: peppery / spicy / lots of coffee beans
Second half: less pepper / more spice / lots of coffee beans / wood

First half: lots of coffee beans / roasted aromas

Course of enjoyment and conclusion
Course of enjoyment: First half rather linear. Second half steady increase.
Conclusion: I love this format, a really nice Davidoff Aniversario Short Perfecto. Very classic. After lighting it burns inwards in a wedge shape in one or more places. This is not a fault of the cigarbut is due to the format. The tobacco is highly compressed at the foot of the cigar. For this reason, the cigar may glow unevenly at the beginning. As soon as the thickest part is reached, the burn corrects itself. The cigar then glows completely straight and evenly until the end.

A cigar test is subjective. The taste of a cigar is influenced by personal taste preferences, taste memories, the shape of the day, what you have eaten or drunk before.
