Cohiba Wide Short, the next star is born! Right at the start of the new year, Cohiba also has something special to offer in the Cuban Mini Cigars range: Cohiba Wide Short. This exclusive new product was presented to the world for the first time at the Habanos Festival in February 2023. The new cigarillos are now gradually reaching the most important cigar markets around the world. In addition, the new Wide Short, with a length of 100 mm, is significantly larger than the well-known and very successful Cohiba Short and, with a ring gauge of 32, also has a significantly larger diameter.

The tobacco
"With the new Cohiba Wide Short, we will open a new chapter of Cuban success. We are convinced that we will build on the great success of the Cohiba Short with this exclusive product," says Norbert Schelkle, responsible for marketing Cuban Mini Cigars at 5th Avenue. "The same high-quality top-quality blend is used for the filler mixture as for the Cohiba Short. The significantly larger format allows the unique Cohiba aroma to develop even better - and for longer."
The presentation of the Cohiba Wide Short
The click fastener is practical and is used on all short products.
The product presentation is also exclusive. Each Cohiba Wide Short is provided with a ring and is individually wrapped in cellophane. The new Wide Shorts are packaged in an innovative "click box". Like the Cohiba Short, the new Wide Short is also made exclusively in the Cuban premium manufacturer Internacional Cubana de Tabacos S.A. in Havana from 100% of the finest Cuban tobacco.
"We are very proud that we can now present this new Cohiba product. It was actually supposed to be launched in September at InterTabac 2023. However, the global pre-orders were so enormous that more time had to be allowed for pre-production. But now we can finally get started," concludes Schelkle.
