The Bolivar New Gold Medal was presented at the Festival del Habano 2023 in Cuba. It was also the first time that visitors to the event were able to buy the cigars on site. There were tumultuous scenes as visitors rushed to the sales stand and there was probably only one station where you could pay by credit card.

The Bolivar New Gold Medal will be available exclusively in Casa del Habano shops. It is a format that will be known under the name „Partagás 15“ (48 x 165 mm). The original Bolivar Gold Medal cigar was discontinued in 2011. Although the ring gauge has been increased from 42 to 48, the previous length has been retained.

As with the earlier Gold Medal, a golden leaf will cover half of the cigar. The red LCDH band is attached below the Bolivar band.
