2023 presented at the Festival del Habano in Cuba

The Bolivar New Gold Medal was presented at the Festival del Habano 2023 in Cuba. It was then also the first time that visitors to the event could buy the cigars on the spot. There were tumultuous scenes because the visitors rushed to the sales booth and there was probably only one station where you could pay by credit card.

The Bolivar New Gold Medal will be available exclusively at Casa del Habano stores. It is a format that will be common under the name "Partagás 15" (48 x 165 mm). The original Bolivar Gold Medal cigar was discontinued in 2011. Although the ring gauge has been increased from 42 to 48, the previous length remains the same.

As with the earlier Gold Medal, a golden leaf will wrap halfway around the cigar. Below the Bolivar band will be the red LCDH band.
