The first five minutes
Lighting up is effortless and the quality of the cigar is evident right from the start. On the first puff, however, you feel a draw resistance that is a little too weak. Nevertheless, the burn is even and the smoke is pleasant. The burn was even.
First and second half

The ash is not very compact. It becomes flaky in the course of the smoke.
Unfortunately, a slight irregularity became apparent as the cigar progressed. The Alec Bradley Sanctum Gordo burned partly crooked and wavy, so that I occasionally had to help with the flame; from time to time it corrected itself. The ash is flaky and not very compact. The aftertaste remains subtle and the smoke exudes a spicy aroma.
Flavour of the Alec Bradley Sanctum Gordo

An uncomplicated cigar. It is linear, perhaps with a slight increase towards the end.
The flavour is not complex and only develops slightly over the entire smoking time. A slightly fruity, nutty undertone accompanied by a hint of leather, slightly bitter cocoa, wood and roasted flavours as well as a slight acidity characterise the taste. The cigar remains almost linear from start to finish.
Overall, the Alec Bradley Sanctum Gordo leaves a positive impression. The initial weakness in draw resistance is compensated for by the good quality of the tobacco and the solid flavour. Despite minor irregularities in the burn, the smoke remains pleasant and uncomplicated overall.

An uncomplicated cigar. It is linear, perhaps with a slight increase towards the end.
