Zino Nicaragua experienced a worldwide media and customer response on 6 May 2021 after a fantastic relaunch. Great events are now starting in Switzerland. They will run from 24.05.21 to 17.10.21. The team at Oettinger Davidoff, Basel, finally held another LIVE MEETING together after 14 months due to COVID-19 and presented the event concept.

Grandiose marketing that hits the mark and customers chatter, chatter, chatter

Zino Nicaragua Event Training — Oettinger Davidoff's internal training programme was held at the „Unser Bier“ brewery in Basel.

Cigar connoisseurs eagerly awaited the creation of the new cigars. Just a few days after the relaunch, connoisseurs from German-speaking countries responded to a survey by Zigarren.Zone Social Media on Facebook. Opinions about the cigar flavour were consistently positive. The graphic design is also appealing. The Anilla does not go down well with everyone. In any case, there is some great marketing at work here, because customers are chattering, chattering, chattering. There is a lot of posting and talking about the brand - the marketing has done everything right here.

The ashtray - produced incorrectly 😉

The ZINO NICARAGUA ashtray took the cake: unfortunately, it was produced incorrectly. Instead of being produced in the shape of a „Z“, the ashtray was produced in the shape of an „N“ 😉 I discovered dozens of photos of it on the internet. This is an excellent (perhaps unintentional) stroke of marketing genius. Of course, the ashtray has been produced correctly. But, why don't you try it out? You conjured an „N“ out of the „Z“ in a second. Grandiose.

The events with DSR motto

DSR, what does that mean? Drugs, sex and rock'n'roll. Of course, you don't get all that at the events 😉 But you do get this: GTSBBBQZNZ: Awesome truck with sound on the bonnet, beer and BBQ. And, of course, plenty of ZINO NICARAGUA cigars. In Switzerland, the truck is on its way to the dealers. The retailers organise the events and invite their customers. Each retailer is free to decide whether there should also be a BBQ. But beer, sound and cigars are definitely available at the event!

The sales force of Oettinger Davidoff, Basel, is prepared

At a training course in Basel, the sales force and various internal employees were trained for these unique events. The event pick-up, a cool Ford Ranger Raptor, was presented in terms of its functionality. The event partner for the beer is the Basel-based company „Unser Bier“. The managing director, Luzius Bosshard, also gave a tour of the brewery.
