With the VILLIGER 1888 Nicaragua Gordo VILLIGER Söhne GmbH presents an impressive new format in its popular premium cigar range. This novelty combines excellent craftsmanship with a modern tobacco composition. The Gordo was launched in Switzerland on 20 March 2025 (CHF 15.00) and will go on sale in Germany on 1 April 2025 (EUR 12.00).

The VILLIGER 1888 Nicaragua Gordo extends the successful Nicaragua series with a strong format: Gordo (6×60), also affectionately known as „the mighty one“. The balanced tobacco blend has been specially adapted to this format and impresses with:

• Viso tobacco from Pennsylvania, which gives the cigar depth and variety of flavours,
• medium-bodied tobaccos from Nicaragua for a harmonious smoking experience,
• and a dark, glossy wrapper leaf from Ecuador, which refines the cigar both visually and in terms of flavour.
