Quai D'Orsay No. 52 world premiere and Coprova, S.A.S., exclusive distributor of Habanos, S.A. in France, acted as master of ceremonies for the presentation of the new vitola of the Quai D'Orsay brand.

Habanos, S.A., together with its exclusive distributor in France, Coprova, S.A.S., launched the new Vitola cigar last Thursday during a festive evening at one of the most emblematic locations in Paris, the Hôtel de La Marine in the central Place de la Concorde. Quai D'Orsay No. 52 (52 ring gauge x 156 mm length) is presented.

The building stands directly on Place de la Concorde and has witnessed some of the most important historical events in the French capital since its construction in the 18th century. From here you also have a view of famous buildings such as the Eiffel Tower and the National Assembly building and, of course, the famous Avenue Quai D'Orsay, which lent its name to the Habanos brand. The perfect place to inaugurate the new Quai D'Orsay No. 52.

The presentation of the new Vitola cigar took place as part of an exclusive gala dinner, at which Cuban tradition, the elegance and sophistication of the location and French gastronomy took centre stage, accompanied by music from both countries.

In addition, the 150 participants were able to sample a unique vitola such as the Quai D'Orsay Secreto Cubano (regional edition for France 2016) and the star of the evening, the Quai D'Orsay No. 52, accompanied by top quality rums.

In addition to Habanos connoisseurs and aficionados, the dinner was also attended by several personalities, including the Cuban Ambassador to France, H.E. Otto Vaillant Frias, who addressed a few words to those present.

Representing Habanos, S.A. at this magnificent event was Co-President Luis Sánchez-Harguindey Pardo de Vera, who emphasised „the importance of a market like France, not only in terms of sales (one of the most important markets in the world), but also because of the knowledge and expertise that exists in France about this wonderful product and because of its aficionados with exquisite taste and constant demand“.
