In mid-September 2019, Coprova, the exclusive distributor of Habanos S.A. for the French market, welcomed numerous guests: retailers, journalists, opinion leaders, distributors and Habanos lovers, for an exclusive cruise on the Seine.
During this world premiere, Marta Chacon and Antoine Bathie, Coprova Co-CEOs, unveiled the brand new Limited Edition of the Quai d'Orsay in front of people from all over the world (Hong Kong, Lebanon, Cuba, Croatia, Vatican, Italy as well as Cyprus...).
"We are very proud to present this limited edition in Paris, where the amazing story of the Quai d'Orsay began in 1974. French aficionados have always been very fond of these Habanos and we are delighted to share this experience with cigar lovers from abroad," said Antoine Bathie.
"Coprova will be the first Habanos distributor to offer our customers the first boxes of these new cigars in the coming months," said Marta Chacon. "We are very pleased to be able to offer this worldwide Avant premiere on the French market."
Those in attendance had the privilege of enjoying this first Limited Edition of Quai d'Orsay on board a luxury yacht named "Excellence", as well as the Quai d'Orsay Secreto Cubano, Regional Edition 2016, which was kept especially for the occasion. Guests appreciated the aromatic delicacy and sweet pastry notes of this unique blend, which was beautifully paired with fine champagne and French specialties. It was a great opportunity for them to discover French Art de Vivre combined with the best Cuban know-how while enjoying an unforgettable "Paris by night" journey.
In addition to this enjoyable time, each aficionado also had the opportunity to discover the book dedicated to the history of the Quai D'Orsay brand, which has just been published to celebrate its 45th anniversary this year.
