La Libertad Corona Tasting

La Libertad Corona

La Libertad - the relaunch of the Villiger brand. A quality product and a great long-filler cigar! I tested 3 examples: 1x before breakfast (!), 1x after lunch and 1x I can't remember ?

A cigar test is subjective

Note: How the cigar tastes is influenced by personal taste preferences, taste memories, the shape of the day, what you have eaten or drunk before. Even the lighting mood in the room has an influence on the experienced taste. The notes described here therefore do not have to match your own impressions.

Conclusion La Libertad Corona Tasting

I like the format and also the cigar. It has its rough edges; the tobacco blend comes from Honduras and Nicaragua.

I had already puffed one a few weeks ago and it tasted "hard" and "angular". I tested the two other samples on 23.07.22 (before breakfast) and 30.07.22 (after lunch).

The differences in taste are interesting: Before breakfast > A lot of pepper and a lot of leather / a lot of wood and a super amount of nut / somewhat "hard" in taste. After lunch > Little pepper and little leather / lots of coffee and a good portion of wood / a good portion of nut / very nicely balanced.

HA! And someone should tell me that it doesn't matter when you puff a cigar?

As always, "If the cigar tastes good to me, then maybe to you. But if you don't like it, then there's more for me!" 🙂
