Diplomaticos El Emisario RE Regional Edition Switzerland. For the first time in its history, Intertabak AG is offering a regional edition in the Diplomaticos brand: "El Emisario". This new cigar will be presented during a specially organized evening event on 5 February 2024 in Basel. Diplomaticos El Emisario will be available in Switzerland from February 6, 2024 at Casa del Habano and from February 13, 2024 at Habanos Specialists. The box of 10 costs CHF 380.00.

Diplomáticos is a contemporary post-revolutionary brand that was founded in 1966. In 1966, five cigars with the same format as the Montecristo No. 1 to 5 were launched on the market. In 1976, two more sizes were introduced, corresponding to the Montecristo Especial and Especial No.2. Today, only the Diplomaticos No. 2 is still available in the standard range.
Diplomaticos El Emisario RE Regional Edition Switzerland: The seal and the various stickers can be found on the outer box. If you buy a whole box, make sure that you always get the outer box as well. Why? You'll find out in the next photo.
The Diplomaticos "El Emisario" has the format "Gordito con cabeza tombada", a 50 ring gauge and a length of 141 mm. El Emisario" is offered in boxes of 10 cigars and production is limited to 150,000 cigars or 15,000 numbered boxes. Diplomáticos are considered medium to strong cigars and are made from tobacco from the top Vuelta Abajo region.
There are no stickers or seals on the wooden box. You should therefore always take the outer box with you if you sell the cigars at a later date.
