Dip a cigar in honey?!
Rumour has it that before COVID-19, tourists in Cuba were shown how to dip a cigar in honey. That sounds like a fascinating experience that I would definitely like to try. The idea of combining the sweet flavour of honey with the smoky aroma of a Cuban cigar is enticing.

Dip 60-second clip cigar in honey

Dip your cigar in honey? Is that something? Watch the short clip!
Cigar and honey
I can hardly wait to experience this unique flavour for myself. But before I embark on this adventure, I first have to decide whether to use a mountain blossom honey or a forest blossom honey. Is it important to learn the right technique so as not to ruin the cigar and enjoy the full flavour of the honey?
All in all, it sounds like an exciting way to experience Cuban culture and Cuban flavour. Or maybe not? Watch the short clip!

Try it out for yourself!

The clip is very entertaining again. I'd love to see more 😂👍
I'll be in the Vinales Valley on Friday to see if they dip cigars in honey there too. If so, I'll ask if I can film it 🥴😉🤣
Hello Joerg
Well, I've never seen that before. But yes, if it really is done, then film it 😅 I wish you lots of fun in the Vinales Valley!
Maybe it's the Cuban type of Larutan. The wrapper leaf is also sweetened. 🤷♂️😁
😝🤢🤮😅
So I asked and the cigar roller says it's just for flavouring. He dips his cigar in rum, red wine or even honey 😅 other countries, other customs 🤷♂️
Maybe it masks the repulsive flavour while the cigar is in the sick phase 😬
Thank you for asking 👍
