The last few months have been characterized by uncertainty: Cuba has suffered from severe power outages, most recently the electricity was almost completely cut off for four days a few weeks ago. Many Habanos lovers wondered whether the Habanos Festival 2025 would take place at all.

Today we finally have some certainty: Habanos S.A. has confirmed by e-mail that the festival will take place as planned from February 24 to February 28, 2025 takes place. In the official PDF (download here) you can find the program - a ray of hope for the global Habanos community!

This is also fantastic news for me, because I am working on a Documentary travel filmwhich is filmed in Cuba just in time for the festival. This time we accompany a cigar lover who is visiting Cuba for the first time. The film shows how he prepares for his trip, what expectations he has and what unforgettable experiences await him there. Of course Claudia will also be in the movie - and probably me too 😁
