DARK COVER SHEET

• Tongue, palate: Slightly peppery at the beginning (no longer from the second half) / wood / coffee beans / slightly sweet and nutty over time
• RetronasalLots of roasted flavours of wood and coffee beans
• R+ ZiZo vacuum technology: Explosive full load of smouldering wood and 80 tonnes of freshly roasted espresso beans 🙂
• Umami: Juicy

LIGHT-COLOURED COVER SHEET

• Tongue, palate: Delicately bitter and very pleasantly tart / slightly nutty (like the skin of a walnut, but much more subtle) / woody and coffee beans with time

• R+ ZiZo vacuum technology: Imagine the following: It's cold outside (minus 20 degrees) and your nose is always a little frozen when you breathe in. Then you enter a warm room, in the centre of which a small fire is blazing in the fireplace and next to it are 10 bags of coffee beans. Can you imagine that smell? This cigar with the R+ technology is something like that. HAMMMERRRR!!!

Conclusion

What a finale to a limited edition series! AVO has spoilt us with a limited edition every year for 10 years. On 21.06.22 an online tasting took place for an exclusive circle of aficionados. They were able to buy a tasting set in advance from the Davidoff Switzerland online shop and then received the link for the ZOOM tasting.

Product Manager Luca Corpina (Oettinger Davidoff Basel) was our guest. He was able to provide the participants with very interesting background information about the two blends and the musician Avo Uvezian.

He also told us that something new is planned with Avo in 2023; although I kindly asked several times to tell us everything, his answer was just a knowing smile on his lips. So we'll have to wait and see and enjoy AVO cigars until then 🙂

This Avo Improvisation Limited Edition 2022 is simply wonderful - you get two different cigars in one box. Marvellous!
