Avo Improvisation 2021 - The Tasting
Avo Improvisation 2021 Limited Edition in the test. I really like the Double Corona. Elegant and classic. The taste is surprising this year.
A cigar test is subjective
Note: How the cigar tastes is influenced by personal taste preferences, taste memories, the shape of the day, what you have eaten or drunk before. Even the lighting mood in the room has an influence on the experienced taste. The notes described here therefore do not have to match your own impressions.

Second half
- For me personally, it is a little too spicy and too bitter. ATTENTION: This is not a fault of the cigar! More about this in the chapter "Conclusion".
- Strength 3/5, almost 4/5

Conclusion
This year, the Avo Improvisation 2021 Limited Edition comes out of the box between the lips stronger than in previous years. The nicotine content is high, but won't knock out an experienced cigar connoisseur. However, beginners should keep their hands off it. The strength from the second half of almost 4/5 says it all. The strength was a surprise for me. I personally like it.
I was also surprised by the wrapper: it is rustic and has dominant veins. I looked at the 20 cigars: All the wrapper leaves are like this. That doesn't change the taste. If you like a more rustic look, you will of course like this cigar. Personally, it doesn't bother me much.
Above I mentioned the acclimatization period of 8 weeks. Why so long? Upon arrival, all three tested specimens (I took them all from the box of 20) tasted a little too bitter and sour. This is not a fault of the cigar - this point is very important. Try a few immediately after purchase and let the others rest for about 8 weeks. I am sure that there will be an improvement. The format is a double corona. I really like that. The format is elegant, timeless, classic. With a length of almost 20 cm and a ring gauge of 50, it doesn't look imposing, but very elegant. Congratulations on the format - really great!
The rolling quality is good as standard and it glows normally. Every now and then there is some wave burn. It usually corrects itself. From time to time the flame has to intervene to correct it.
Fans of AVO's limited editions should definitely pick this up. It's best to buy two or three boxes in stock and store them away. The crate has a high-quality finish and a felt base (outside, not inside) 🙂
A powerful Avo Improvisation 2021 - great.
