Global premium cigar brand AVO Cigars is proud to announce the ninth edition of its award-winning limited edition „AVO Improvisation“ series. The limited edition was inspired by Avo Uvezian's extraordinary life, which was characterised by music and an irrepressible lust for life. This spirit enabled Avo to create lasting memories and shaped the creation of AVO Improvisation 2021.

«Avo Uvezian was one of the first to produce an annual limited edition cigar in 2001, breaking with convention. In keeping with this spirit, we have decided to break new ground again with the AVO Improvisation 2021,» says Edward Simon, CMO of Oettinger Davidoff AG. «Even the packaging of the AVO Improvisation 2021 pays homage to the metal copper and the role it has played in art and music for centuries. The shape of the cigar is inspired by the timeless and successful history of the AVO line and the legendary AVO Improvisation Series. The „Double Corona“ format reflects the greatness and importance of these milestones, with which we are honouring both the 20th anniversary of this limited edition and the 95th birthday of the composer himself.»

The AVO Improvisation 2021 is symbolic of both the heritage and the innovation of the line, with four different yet complementary Dominican Republic inlays. The binder and wrapper come from Ecuador and add a modern, innovative flavour to this unconventional symphony. The wrapper leaf undergoes a deliberately prolonged ageing process, which intensifies the creaminess and sweetness of the tobacco.

Market launch and availability

The AVO Improvisation 2021 has been available in the US market since March and will be available in European markets from June. With a production run of 4,550 boxes worldwide, AVO Improvisation 2021 is one of the biggest new launches from AVO Cigars this year.
