Matilde Serena Robusto - An uncomplicated cigar for beginners
I have tested the Matilde Serena Robusto. I recently had the pleasure of trying this cigar. With a silky wrapper and even construction, this cigar promised a pleasant smoking experience. The light brown wrapper also gave it an attractive appearance with the green cigar ring and its gold-coloured lettering.

Course of enjoyment and conclusion
Before lighting the cigar, I took a cold puff and was greeted by grassy and woody flavours. That was a promising start. The lighting itself was easy, although the draw resistance was a little too light for my personal taste. Nevertheless, the cigar burned evenly.
In terms of strength, I would classify the Matilde Serena Robusto as light, a maximum of 2 out of 5 on the scale. This makes it a great choice for beginners who have not yet familiarised themselves with stronger cigars. The flavour of the cigar was subtle and pleasant without being overpowering. The aftertaste was fleeting, but positively lingering.

The slight misaligned firing corrects itself.
The room note, i.e. the aroma of the smoke, was mild and subtle. In the flavour, I could detect nuances of cocoa, wood and a slightly acidic, yet creamy note. The flavour was linear, with no big surprises. Although the cigar was pleasant overall, I personally found it lacking in complexity. Of course, this is not a fault of the cigar itself, but rather a question of my preference for more depth and complexity.
All in all, the Matilde Serena Robusto is an uncomplicated cigar that is particularly suitable for beginners to cigar enjoyment. With its mild strength and subtle flavours, it offers a pleasant smoking experience. However, those looking for a cigar with more depth and complexity should perhaps consider other options.

An uncomplicated smoke all round.
A cigar test is subjective. The flavour of a cigar is influenced by personal taste preferences, taste memories, the mood of the day, what you have eaten or drunk beforehand. Even the lighting in the room influences the flavour experience. The flavour nuances described here therefore do not necessarily correspond to your own impressions.

I ordered this cigar by chance. My personal conclusion was about the same. For me, this is a cigar for when I've had a hard day and am simply too tired for a complex cigar. At the end of the day, it's all about relaxing and enjoying the cigar that suits you best. Let the Fire Burn ??
