Habanos World Days 2021 - The programme

Habanos World Days 2021 - this virtual event is taking place for the first time. It runs from 4 to 6 May. So you can travel to Havana from the comfort of your own computer, tablet or smartphone and celebrate the 55th anniversary of the top Habanos brand Cohiba together with aficionados from all over the world. Organising an event like this, in which the participants take part virtually LIVE, is a challenge. I'm very excited to see exactly how it will work and I'm looking forward to it. Many activities are planned, including a competition. How this will be organised has not been communicated in the media information to date. Registration and later participation will take place at www.habanosworlddays.com.  

World Days 2021 = virtual event

The Virtual Trade Fair is the meeting and exchange point for tobacco industry professionals from all over the world, exhibitors of luxury product manufacturers in general, as well as craftsmen, artists, manufacturers of smoking products and gourmet products. Habanos S.A. has published a short film to get you in the mood here.

There are already 5,000 registered users for this event. Over three days, participants in the 1st Habanos World Days will enjoy a full programme of activities where they will learn about the origins, production and various aspects of Habano and Cohiba culture. It will be an exciting gathering dedicated to the latest news, knowledge and enjoyment of the Habano and will welcome participants from more than 120 countries.

On 6 May, the 1st Habanos World Days will come to a close, with the Co-Presidents of Habanos, S.A. saying a few parting words and announcing the nominees for the prestigious Habano Awards 2020 and the winners of the Habanos World Challenge, which took place during the virtual event.

Cohiba plays a special role

COHIBA plays a special role. The cigar brand is celebrating its 55th anniversary. During this virtual event, Habanos S.A. will announce its commercial results and the most important market launches for 2021.

The programme also includes a conference on the Cohiba brand, pairings led by master Habanos sommeliers from around the world, presentations of exclusive new launches in collaboration with other prestigious brands such as Zenith Watches or S.T. Dupont; and even the famous Habanos World Challenge competition, a version of which will be optimised for this virtual event, where aficionados who demonstrate their knowledge of the Habano and the Cohiba brand in particular can win great prizes.
