The Zino Fest 2026 will bring 300 guests to Coinsins
Now in its second year, the Zino Fest has expanded from one to two days. Around 300 guests attended the festival, organised by Oettinger Davidoff and La Couronne House of Luxury, at Domaine Z in Coinsins on 2 and 3 July 2026. The event also marked the launch of the new Zino Honduras cigar range.

Extended from one to two days
The first edition of the Zino Fest took place over a single day in 2025. For the second edition, the organisers extended the programme to two days. According to them, this was in response to the success of the inaugural event. The venue was once again the Domaine Z in Coinsins. The vineyard is situated amongst the vineyards of Vaud and, in summery weather, provided an open-air setting for the event. The focus was less on a traditional product presentation and more on a brand festival featuring a variety of entertainment options.

The programme included live music, DJ sets, bull riding and axe throwing. There was also the Zino Truck, bars serving beer and cocktails, and cigars which could be personalised on the spot and laser-engraved. This blend of music, food and drink, and activities is in line with the current direction of the Zino brand. Its marketing places greater emphasis on informal get-togethers and shared experiences than on traditional forms of cigar presentation.

Why is this interesting?
The Zino Fest demonstrates how cigar brands are increasingly showcasing their products outside traditional trade events. Music, food and leisure activities provide the backdrop, whilst the cigars themselves make up only part of the programme. For cigar smokers, the Zino Honduras is of particular interest. The tobaccos from Jamastrán and Copán come from different Honduran growing regions.

Collaboration with La Couronne
The event was organised jointly by Oettinger Davidoff AG, Basel, and La Couronne House of Luxury SA. La Couronne operates several specialist shops in French-speaking Switzerland and also organises events centred on cigars and spirits. This collaboration thus brings together the manufacturer and a specialist retailer with strong regional roots. For an event of this scale, this division of responsibilities is key: the manufacturer provides the brand and the product, whilst the retailer facilitates access to the regional audience and supports the on-site organisation.
Zino Honduras takes centre stage at the festival
The event also marked the launch of Zino Honduras. The new range went on sale on 26 June 2026 and was presented to a wider audience a few days later at the Zino Fest. Zino Honduras complements the Zino Nicaragua range, which has been available since 2021. It is made using Honduran tobaccos from the Jamastrán Valley and the Copán region; the wrapper comes from Ecuador. The cigars are produced in Danlí, Honduras.
The range comprises three sizes: Half Corona, Robusto and Toro. In addition to the classic boxes of 25, smaller packs are available, as well as the Half Corona with the cap already cut off. The Robusto and Toro are available, amongst other options, in packs of four, whilst the Half Corona comes in packs of five.
