He spent his days leading a nation, making speeches, telling stories, traveling and devoting himself to the arts - a man who knew no rest and whose multifaceted character inspired the creation of the Davidoff Winston Churchill Collection, which provides aficionados with numerous moments of pleasure during the day and at night.

Davidoff Winston Churchill Limited Edition 2025 inspired by the artist
A paintbrush in one hand, a cigar in the other: artistic creation was one of Winston Churchill's greatest passions and a way of recovering from the strain of running the country. As a respected painter, he knew the importance of a balanced mixture of colors - even a small change in the mixing ratio would produce a completely different end result.
The same applies to the tobacco blend: the Winston Churchill Limited Edition 2025 is the fifth limited edition in "The Original Series". Like the popular line, it is blended from tobaccos from different countries of origin, but in different proportions. The result is a new taste that aficionados can enjoy in the stately Churchill format - the largest cigar to date among the Winston Churchill Limited Editions.
Taste experience
The Limited Edition 2025 offers complex aromas of nuts, black coffee and cedar wood. In particular, the tobacco from the Martin Garcia zone in the Dominican Republic with very high levels of sunlight and rich, dark soil gives the cigar a unique complexity and sweetness. The refined aromas and subtle flavors change and develop during the generous Churchill format for a nicely filled 60 to 70 minutes with a medium to full body.

Packaging design inspired by art
The art of Sir Winston Churchill has not only influenced the blending process of the cigar, but also its eye-catching presentation. "Thanks to our long-standing partnership with the Churchill family, we have been generously granted permission to reproduce Winston Churchill's famous painting 'Cork Trees Near Mimizan' on the lid of our wooden box and on a second ring on the cigars.
As the cigar is a Churchill, Sir Winston's favorite format, it is probably the most personal of all Winston Churchill Limited Editions to date and therefore a real collector's item," says Edward Simon, CMO at Oettinger Davidoff.
Two new Winston Churchill humidors inspired by the artist
As a subtle homage to Churchill's passion for painting, the lid - which shows his silhouette in bright colors - is designed to resemble brushstrokes.
The Ambassador also features a famous quote from Winston Churchill's 1948 book "Painting as a Pastime". Both humidors are equipped with a Davidoff Slim Regulator, which is developed and produced exclusively for Davidoff.
While the smaller Primos humidor for 25 to 35 cigars shows the silhouette in yellow on a dark grey background, the larger Ambassador for 70 to 80 cigars is dark blue and shows the silhouette in lighter tones.
Along with the new cigar, Davidoff is launching two handcrafted wooden humidors with a unique design inspired by Churchill's artistic talents. As a subtle homage to Churchill's passion for painting, the lid - which features his silhouette in vibrant colors - is designed to resemble brushstrokes.

The regulators ensure stable humidification between 70% and 72% relative humidity by releasing or absorbing moisture as required. Fine details such as the Churchill silhouette on the front with mirror effect or the elegant small silver plaque with the Davidoff logo on the inside of the lid make these humidors highly functional and undoubtedly stylish accessories for Winston Churchill fans and aficionados.

The history of Davidoff humidors
Just like a good wine, first-class cigars need to be stored in the right environment in order to mature, rest and become even better. Zino Davidoff was the first to invest time in researching and developing optimal storage conditions and methods for the finest quality cigars.
The time during which the cigars rest in the humidor requires absolute control over the humidity and temperature. Taking these factors into account, Zino Davidoff built his first, famous cigar cellar in 1930. Knowing that not all aficionados have this much space, he then developed the first humidor so that cigar lovers could store their precious cigars in a smaller space.
This innovation in craftsmanship combined with Davidoff's possibilities in design created room for new inventions: There was also the Davidoff Regulator with the first self-regulating system, which eliminated the need for a controlling hygrometer and kept the cigars in a condition in which they could be enjoyed at any time.
