New YouTube channel: Crazy or ingenious? You decide!

Close-up of the cigar ring above. Note the holographic elements in various places here too. The printing and embossing are clean and clearly printed.

What is he trying again? Yes, I know what you're thinking. "He's already got enough on his plate! So now a new YouTube channel?" Exactly. But let me explain why. The main reason for switching to a new YouTube channel is simple: to move away from the corporate website YouTube channel (Crazycat Media) to a personal and authentic Vasilij. I don't want to present you with standardized glossy videos, but real, unfiltered insights into the world of cigars - the way I experience them. No marketing slogans, no polished image films, but authentic passion for cigars. Genuine passion for cigars - without filters, without marketing blah-blah!

Big plans, big ideas - and a big failure!

Some of you may remember my forum. Big plans, great ideas, a paradise for cigar lovers. Well, it's just a shame that people no longer hang out in forums, but prefer to scroll through Instagram and TikTok. Sometimes you have to admit it: Times are changing and the community decides where it wants to meet. So, goodbye forum - it was a nice try!

"Read" cigars? It's quite ok. But now it's getting even more visual!

But back to my new experiment: YouTube! Why? Because I want to introduce you to the world of cigars in an even more entertaining way. There are so many exciting stories, great cigars and special people out there that you just can't capture in text alone. And let's be honest: a video of the smoke slowly rising into the air says more than a thousand written words.

An adventure in Havana - The special cigar movie!

There will be a special highlight in April / May 2025: Thomas Kobel will visit the Habanos Festival for the first time! Not only will it be his first trip to Cuba, but he will also be smoking a Cohiba for the first time. A real moment of pleasure for a great cigar lover like him! We accompany him on this exciting journey and experience first-hand how he explores the fascinating world of Havana. This travel film will be an unforgettable experience - stay tuned!

Familiar hits & new content - My YouTube reboot!

The first videos are already online. Including two that were already really well received on my old channel. So I thought: why not show them to a new audience again? And of course there's much more to come - interviews, reviews, background stories. Everything that interests cigar lovers and the curious.

Here is a fascinating and inspiring short story about Raymondo Bernasconi and his cigar brand Gilbert de Montsalvat.

So, what are you waiting for? Take a look, subscribe to the channel and let yourself be whisked away into the fascinating world of cigars.

  1. Really cool idea, Vasilij! I think it's great that you're focusing on real, unfiltered content. Authenticity makes all the difference. Looking forward to exciting videos and deeper insights into the world of cigars! See you soon, Phil

  2. A good video shows the cigar in detail. What does it look like? What does it smell like? How does it taste? Then you know whether you might like it.

  3. I like videos that aren't too long. Explain briefly, show a cigar, give your opinion. No boring talk, just straight to the point.

  4. What counts most for me is authenticity! I want to hear honest opinions, not just marketing gobbledygook. When someone tries a cigar, I want to know what's really good (or bad) about it - without embellishment.

  5. I like it when the story behind the cigar is told as well as the cigar itself. Where does it come from? Who makes it? What makes it special? Then you have a completely different connection to it when you smoke it yourself.

  6. Great decision, Vasilij! Personal and authentic always goes down better than slick promotional videos. I'm looking forward to the new content! 🚀🔥 Greetings, Peter
