Habanos S.A. realises almost 12 million euros at the 2023 humidor auction

Habanos S.A. informed: The gala dinner of the 23rd Habano Festival at the Pabexpo exhibition centre (Cuba, La Habana) reached its climax with around 1200 participants. The proceeds from the traditional humidor auction totalled €11,220,000 and will be donated in full to the Cuban healthcare system.

One of the highlights of the gala was the auction of the exclusive humidors dedicated to the six global Habanos brands: Cohiba, Montecristo, Romeo y Julieta, Partagás, Hoyo de Monterrey and H. Upmann. The total proceeds amounted to €11,220,000 and, as usual, will be donated in full to the Cuban healthcare system.

The Cohiba humidor in particular once again broke its own record with proceeds of €4,200,000. This exclusive piece made of wood, metal and semi-precious stones once again confirms the brand's positioning as cosmopolitan and elegant with its splendour. The humidor holds 500 Habanos, all carefully selected from the Cohiba brand's high-quality product range.
