In today's programme, we welcome Katja Gnann and Reinhold C. Widmayer. Katja has been at home because of COVID-19 and her office is almost a small library. I think there are hundreds of books on all kinds of topics. And, yes, they are real, physical print products and not a digital wallpaper.

Reinhold was in the office. In the background you can see many issues of Cigarjournal. These are also physical printed products. Vasilij was in his lounge and hosted the programme.

This is a format from Zigarren.Zone Social Network. What does ZEN mean in the context of this format? It is often said that ZEN offers nothing. Neither a teaching, nor a secret, nor answers. It means living life to the fullest. You can find an article about this at Wikipedia. So this is about celebrating the pleasure of a cigar, a drink and a conversation. Simply switching off and taking time for yourself. Simply being and slowing down without pursuing a specific goal.

Topic 1: A special kind of experience with e-cigars

Reinhold attended the Intertabac trade fair a few years ago (as he does every year). As he walked through the halls before the doors opened and looked at the products, one stand caught his eye: E-cigars from COHIBA, Montecristo and other Cuban cigar brands. He was amazed because he thought that Habanos S.A. would expand its product portfolio and also offer e-cigars. He couldn't believe it. But you can see what he experienced in the video.

Topic 2: Print media and their justification in the digital world

Does the print medium Cigarjournal still have any justification in our digital world? What do readers think? Katja and Reinhold go into this in detail and explain why the print edition of Cigarjournal is actually on the rise. We also talked about the future: will there still be print media in 100 years' time? In what form will people receive their information?

Topic 3: Tasting panel: Purchased ratings or what's really going on?

Are the cigar ratings just marketing tools bought by the cigar brands? Or are they real cigar tests? How does it all work? Reinhold tells us in an impressive way about the gigantic logistics behind it and how the test cigars are shipped internationally.
