Eisenach cigar factory: Where pleasure finds a new home

The time has finally come: A new oasis of pleasure is opening in the center of Germany - the Eisenach cigar factory. A fine whiff of tobacco has been wafting through Georgenstrasse 19 C since the soft opening on June 14, but on July 10, 2025 is it then officialThe grand opening is coming up. The starting signal will be given at 11:00 a.m. - and then it's off to the races.

Now it's time to put things away! But the owner Thomas Geissler had to get past the guard dog first! 😁 Did he make it?

What takes a long time sometimes suddenly becomes quick: after the tax office was asked with gentle but firm insistence to pull the bureaucratic lever, the tax number finally fluttered into the house. The Track & Trace number? Just a formality. Now nothing stood in the way of the start - Cigars have been ordered, the first ones have arrived. The humidor? Already well filled.

The store is open. The till is running. The shelves are full. And the smell of a new beginning is in the air.

The start has been made - here we go!

Of course, everything starts with a "soft opening" - because a little familiarization is always good. We know the principle from the restaurant trade: warm up first before the big rush arrives. And there's a real highlight even before the official start!

On June 27 becomes Christopher Mey (Esteban Carreras Cigars, formerly Rocky Patel) together with Jens Buhne from Kopp Tobaccos will be visiting - from 10:00 to 14:00. Join in the smoking, join in the conversation, join in the party: Welcome to the Cigar Combine!

What can you expect in the new store?

Well, everything that makes a cigar lover's heart beat faster:
From Cutters, cigarillos and pipe tobacco, plus Spirits, wine - and a very special cola.

Yes, you read that right. The landlord is Coke lovers and has come up with something special: A Cola from Costa Rica, produced with real cane sugar, fairly traded and with a clear commitment to Human rights and equality.

What could be better for ethical enjoyment of a cigar fit as a drink that embodies the same values?

Come by - in the middle of Eisenach

The Cigar combine is perfectly accessible:

• Georgenstraße 19 C, approx. 150 meters from the market square
• Only 100 meters from the parking garage at the market
• 50 meters from the parking lot at the Predigerkirche
