In Venâncio Aires, Brazil, tobacco growing has been firmly rooted for generations. This is exactly where Ferreira's story began: he grew up with tobacco and worked with his family in the fields around Venâncio Aires in southern Brazil at a young age - a region known for its high-quality Virginia and Burley tobaccos.

He later founded Tobacco Way and initially acted as a link between local farmers and international customers. With growing success in the export business, Tobacco Way further developed its portfolio and began to create its own pipe and fine-cut tobaccos.
