Presentation at the 23rd Habanos Festival 2023

A cocktail party was held yesterday in the protocol room of El Laguito. The evening, which was attended by around 700 guests, was dedicated to one of Habanos, S.A.'s most legendary brands: the Bolívar, which can look back on over 120 years of history. The name of the brand is a tribute to the Venezuelan leader Simón Bolívar, the liberator of large parts of South America and one of the great personalities of the 19th century.

One of the highlights of the evening was the presentation of the Bolivar New Gold Medal Vitola (48 ring gauge x 165 mm length), which comes in a box of 10. The vitola is distributed exclusively through the La Casa del Habano franchise network, a project that was launched in 1990 with the aim of offering all Habano lovers exclusivity, the best service and the best product experience, and which currently comprises 157 branches around the world.

Bolivar New Gold Medal
The New Gold Medal brings back a vitola from the 1960s, 50 per cent of which is wrapped in gold foil and is one of the most famous Habanos collector's items. Its earthy aroma is unsurpassed and its characteristic flavour remains intact for decades.

In Cuba, the box is priced at 270 US dollars..... will be around 30 euros/ francs here, I suspect. The nimbus of this hyped cigar is gladly taken in with the pricing. I'm curious to see what it can do....when it arrives. I think the format is great.
Yes, it could be something like that. It's not so exorbitantly high in price. I thought it was funny because the original text of the press release said several times „...will be presented in a special box...“ I've removed that because, according to the photos, it's obviously the familiar and normal decorated boxes. ?
I think the box is quite special. Large box, built-in placeholder, shorter cigars inside than the closed box seems to suggest. Cuban air is already being marketed here. I've never seen this in any other box from Cuba. In my opinion, this is therefore a special case.
Oh, that's what you mean. For me it's still a normal crate, decorated like thousands of other standard Cuban crates. For me, special crates are made of wood and varnished ?
