New Quality Director at Habanos S.A.

Habanos S.A. announced that Tomás Marco Domínguez has been appointed as the new Quality Director.

Tomás Marco, Agricultural Engineer and Master in Rural Development, worked for more than 10 years as Director of Agricultural Development Projects in Central America and finally in Cuba for the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (Agencia Española de Cooperación Internacional para el Desarrollo). Tomás Marco joined Habanos S.A. in 2016 as a controlling specialist and was appointed Director of Budgeting and Controlling in the same year. According to Habanos S.A., his acquired knowledge and experience will contribute greatly to this new position.

The previous Quality Director, Oscar Ricote Jorge, is leaving the position he has held at Habanos S.A. for the last 10 years to take on new responsibilities within the Premium Cigar Division of Tabacalera S.L.U..
