Zigarren.Zone goes Global: Content now available in five languages
Zigarren.Zone invests in technologies: DeepL and TranslatePress. I am happy to announce that Zigarren.Zone has made a truly international step! After a successful test phase, our content is now available in five languages: English, French, German, Italian and Spanish. This opens the gates for all cigar lovers in these language regions, who can now enjoy our high-quality articles in their native language. In a later phase and after extensive testing, other languages will be added: Indonesian, Korean and Japanese.

DeepL API makes it possible for Zigarren.Zone
Dear cigar lovers,
the seamless implementation of this exciting enhancement was made possible by the cutting-edge performance of a groundbreaking technology: the outstanding AI-driven translation service "DeepL". One click on the country flag is all it takes to experience our content in the desired language.
We owe the simultaneous translation feature to the sophisticated API function of DeepL and our trusted partner "TranslatePress". This translation plugin helps to maintain the quality and character of our articles in every translation. The first simultaneous translation of an article takes only a few seconds. After that, the translation is stored in the database and retrieving such an article takes only a few milliseconds.
Zigarren.Zone pays for this service monthly, depending on the number of translations, because of course it is not free.
Cost control
The cost control is in the foreground. Zigarren.Zone activates an amount that is used for one month for the automatic translation. If the translations reach the limit, the amount can be increased at any time. If Zigarren.Zone gets to a point where it no longer wants to pay for automatic translation, it has to translate the new articles manually. This is done through another subscription to "DeepL translator".
